I am honored to have been elected to represent District 5 in the New Hampshire Senate. The town-by-town results are available here.
I am grateful to the many people who contributed in so many ways to the campaign – whether it was putting up yard signs, calling voters, hosting gatherings, writing letters to the editor, or making financial contributions. Every piece of support meant a great deal. And I will work as hard as I can every day to make you proud of your vote – or to earn your confidence if you supported my opponent.
Serving in the New Hampshire House as one of Cornish, Grantham and Plainfield's representatives has been incredibly rewarding. We accomplished so much on so many issues in Concord during the last session - from raising the minimum wage to capping the interest rates on payday and title loan lenders to expanding coverage for health care insurance.
But there's more work to do. We will face difficult budget decisions in a challenging economic time. I share the priorities of the District 5 community and am confident that Concord will do the right thing.
